"Meat ban" or the new face of Indian democracy in 2015

Democracy... This word means music to the ears of someone who has known the effects of totalitarian regimes. The Roots from Greece are at the risk of being cut in India. Not that i would have in mind that India is the cradle of world democracy, but what we have seen in the last years has pictured for us a modern democratic India that works on its own development. Bollywood movies are getting so much more coquette that one could easily came to the conclusion that the lower the skirt gets the more democratic the country becomes.

Now going back to the ban thing. If you don't know what a ban is, than shortly it can be formulated as a prohibition of something. If you want to go deeper with the term have a look here.
The new "meat ban" doesn't have anything with the latest beef ban, it is a new ban, freshly took out of the box.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has banned animal slaughter for four days during the Jain fasting.
Justices Makrandey Katju and  H.K. Sema said:
If the Emperor Akbar could forbid meat eating for six months in a year in Gujarat, is it unreasonable to abstain from meat for nine days in a year in Ahmedabad today?
Making abstraction of all these ideas and even taking into consideration vegetarians good will to save animals still i can not fully tolerate the idea of this ban. It woke up a tiny bell in my mind and suddenly the question popped up: Why should someone's religion practices be imposed to everybody?  Today it's all about the meat than tomorrow it is going to be about something else. But as we all know, we better practice the saying: don't worry...be happy...and dance, even if you can not eat meat.
