Feel the fear for the new World Economic Crisis

In economics it's all about ups and downs. Crises and economic booms are following each other in a fatal dance where all we have to do is figure it out how to keep the pace with this mad dance and remain "financially alive". So we are so used to this word crisis,  especially those from developing countries, that every time when we hear it we tend to not pay any attention.
But trust me this time, things seem to move differently and maybe it is that moment when we have to analyse our positions and take the idea of a new crisis more seriously.

The frequency of economic crises tend to increase. It is considered the average frequency to be something within the precinct of 58 months. Taking  into consideration the latest world crisis than it should be completely normal to expect a new one in 2015. Will it be this September or lately? The most important is to figure out what is the reason causing so many fluctuations in indexes and shrink of currencies.
Latest events show that the epicenter could be in China, either Russia, USA or in oil-exporting countries. World economy is so much interconnected that any sudden decline in a geo-political important region automatically brings another decline. After its peak on 27 April 2015, FTSE has been on a slide. All the drops are influencing the economy. Middle East stocks are declining and everyone is asking himself if the currencies will also drop. Remembering the Russian oil crisis and how they supported their currency by using their reserves, are the leaders in the Middle East going to use the same tactics? Even if they decide to do so, it is important to mention that Gulf reserves are much bigger that anyone else's reserves and in short terms the effects of the crisis won't be so visible.

When it comes to Europe, the Eurozone is condemned to stay in a permanent economic crisis if important reforms aren't made. Another surprise is China's yuan policy U-turn on August 11 led to ripples threatening emerging economies. You can read more here
Digesting all this information, one important question comes in the mind: will the market correct or is it going to be a new world crisis?

Mo Farah takes 10000m World Championships gold in Beijing

Mo Farah did it again! One more gold medal and glory! This male athlete is really amazing. Just looking back at all his successes until now you feel so inspired. He holds a bunch of world records for different distances. And he just did it again. Mo Farah wins 10000m World Championships gold.

This story is even more motivational because 7 years ago, in the same stadium, Mohamed Farah failed to qualify for 5000m. But he never gave up continuing to run and win. In July 2010, he won first-ever men's European Championships gold medal at 10000m, then a gold at 5000m. In 2011, he won the silver in the 10000m and the gold in 5000m at the World Championships in Athletics. He also became double Olympic champion at the 2012 Olympic Games in London: gold for 10000m and 5000m.

In 2013 he repeated the double success becoming the second man in the history to win double victory in both Olympics and Championships.
Another curious thing about Mo Farah is that everytime that he has a victory he has to have his special moment of "Mobot" signature pose, a kind of victory dance and pose.

Why is Mo Farah an inspiration? He is a true motivation because so far i learnt two lessons from him:
1. There is no failure unless you quit, so keep on fighting even when you lose and believe in yourself so you can win tomorrow.
2. It is ok to be happy and take your moment when you win. Hard work deserves rewards even from your inner self.

Pray for Korea and for World Peace

Woke up this morning to enjoy my cup of tea while media is bombing us with news about the critical situation between North and South Korea. The East is literally smoking like my cup of hot tea.

Tensions are rising after the parts exchanged some heavy-armed fire. According to the Wall Street Journal what is happening now is pretty unstable. Dozens of artillery were fired at a North Korean base that had launched a rocket over the border this Thursday. South Korea keeps its loud speakers spreading anti-Pyongyang propaganda. This drives North Korea crazy, which is why they threatened with more attacks if these actions wont finish within 48 hours.

The propaganda against Pyongyang started after United Nations declared North Korea responsible for the mine blast on 4th August that killed 2 South Korean soldiers. Of course, North Korea denies its involvement and continues to fight against all the anti-Pyongyang propaganda especially because it contains also criticism on North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. In order to be loyal to their leader, North Koreans try to shut up all the propaganda.
So what should we be waiting for? Is the threat real? Until now, North Korea has shown different situations in which the threats remained locked to the abstract world being limited to just words. Despite all this, their young leader Kim Jong Un denotes unpredictability as proven in 23 November 2010 with the deadly attack on Yeongpyeong.

The threat is real but all we can do is to pray for Korea and world peace by keeping in mind what Albert Enstein said:
Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.

Dismaland - the ultimate new destination for street art lovers

Who is Banksy and what does he breathe? Well, he is a famous graffiti artist , known by his Banksy pseudonymous. He breathes art and amazing designs. He is literally the synonym of street artist because nowadays the word Banksy is used worldwide to denote talented art creators that imprint their creative designs on the grey city walls.

He served as an inspiration even for the well known community of artists Photolamus who took their art farther by turning it into a mobile app and website that can transform anyone's picture into a caricature street art kind of style.
Coming back to Dismaland, the new Banksy's Art Exhibition has open and it will be available for five weeks at Westons's Tropicana. The park had Disneyland as an inspiration and it contains a mix of pop art, street art and some exquisite pieces in an apocalyptic theme. It is truly one of a kind collection of bemusement arts.

Here it is the Dismaland legend that offers you a snick peek of what can this park offer you.

So what can we find inside, It has been told that the collection contains bizarre strange art works of more than 50 artists around the world, like Damien Hirst, Bill Barminski, Caitlin Cherry, Polly Morgan, Josh Keyes, Mike Ross, David Shrigley, Bäst, and Espo. The expo also shows 10 Banksy's art works. Isn't this fantastic?
The final conclusion is that the place is one of a kind and it brings so much colors and innovation in the idea of mass entertainment.

GCSE statistics say: more students taking grades between C and A, and less with grades between A and A*. Are we getting fool?

It is that time of the year when students hold their breathe to open the magic envelopes and find out the results for their GCSE tests. This exact moment is both important for the student and for the country, as the statistics show what the new generation is capable of and whether we advance or we degrade.  Students should make their conclusions and take the decision for a big lifetime.

According to the Guardian's  and Telegraph latest update on GCSE results things aren't going so pretty. Statistics show a decrease in the percentage of high grades in the last 4 years. In 2012, the percentage of those who got  A* was 7.3 and it dropped down to 6.6 % in 2015. Fortunately or no, the percentage of students who took a grade between C and A increased. Does this mean that students are getting weaker and the term of being "average" is spreading even more?

Another point to mention is the decrease of student number taking foreign language GCSE test. It is truly alarming as we all know that nowadays living in a cosmopolitan globalized world is practically impossible without having knowledge of foreign languages. English may be not enough in the big labor market competition.
More and more students are doing computing narrowing the arts. I find it to be something normal as a consequence of digital development.

So the main question remaining to be open is: where will this new generation take us? To a new computer era where there's no need to communicate and learn foreign languages?

WhatsApp web is available for iPhone users

In the Middle East, WhatsAPP is the number one messaging mobile app used for communication, and not only. Many people are using this unique service not only for chatting with family and friends but also for business purposes. I guess we are all familiar with those SM accounts, more likely on Instagram that are selling something and are using WhatsApp as a way of connection between seller and customer.

Almost everybody knows what is WhatsApp mobile application about and how to use it so I think that it is not necessarily to explain. In case if you are that rare person on this planet that has a smartphone but doesn't have WhatsApp mobile app, don't get sad my friend...this link right here is for you WhatsApp on Android WhatsApp iOS.

Then what is all the thing about WhatsApp web? Basically this is giving you the possibility to access everything that gives you this mobile application through your browser, so not only on your phone but also on your computer. Isn't this great? The messages you send and receive are completely synced between your computer and your phone and you can see them on both devices. WhatsApp web doesn't mean a new account. You are accessing the same account that you are using on your phone, but this time from the browser on your computer.

In order to get stated to use it you must pair your phone and computer. Just follow these easy steps and you are all set up:
- enter on web.whatsapp.com on your computer;
- open WhatsApp on your phone then go to Menu>WhatsApp web
- scan the QR code on your computer.
You can read more details here http://www.whatsapp.com/faq/en/web/28080003

And voila! Now you can easily use WhatsApp web on both, your mobile phone and computer.

Until yesterday, WhatsApp web was available only for :  Android, Windows Phone 8.0 and 8.1, Nokia S60, Nokia S40 Single SIM EVO, Blackberry 10 and BB10.
Due to "Apple platform limitations" WhatsApp web wasn't available for iOS, but things have changed. All the iPhone users can now cheer and laugh as this service is no longer unavailable for them. Yes it's official. WhatsApp web is not available for iOS.
